Hmmm...This study pretty much confirms what I've always known.

Yeah, I feel that I'm perceived as too ethnic, and that my speaking voice lacks authority. I also feel that I don't measure up when judged against a white male.

But the real question is: how do we change this?

I think that's fairly easy: diversify the upper ranks. But of course, that presents a Catch-22: can WoC honestly advance with their "ethnic traits" intact?

I do remain hopeful.
